Our floor panel for PSA Group vehicles consists of 2 parts.

The Filler panel equalises the uneven floor and brings the original carpet to the same height as the rails. This means that modules can be placed on a flat surface and the original rail system can still be used. It consists of a 12 mm thick birch multiplex board.

Please note: due to the long, narrow wooden strips between the rails and panelling, the filler panel may not lie 100% flat on the floor or the distance to the outer rail may not be 100% constant - this is not possible otherwise due to the principle.

 

The Cover plate lies above the rails and thus turns the load compartment into a Completely closed and flat surface. It consists of a 9 mm thick birch multiplex board.

 

Both panels can be screwed together to form a single unit.

As the floor plate is not bolted to the vehicle, we recommend attaching modules to the original seat rails using adapters/grooved nuts.

Furniture modules & load securing

Load securing: Our modules are regarded as cargo and the vehicle driver is responsible for securing them properly (e.g. with tested lashing straps).
Maximum load capacity: Do not exceed the permissible load to avoid material damage or instability.
Danger of crushing: Operate flaps or drawers carefully - danger to fingers and hands.
Humidity: Wooden modules are only resistant to moisture to a limited extent - avoid prolonged exposure to water.
Flammability: Do not place open flames or very hot objects directly on wooden surfaces.

Gas cooker

Risk of fire and explosion: Only use the gas cooker on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Ensure ventilation: Use only outdoors or with a sufficient supply of fresh air.
Danger of carbon monoxide: Toxic CO can accumulate in closed rooms - CO warning alarms recommended.
Check for leaks: Check for gas odour or leaks before each use.
Gas cartridges: Only use compatible cartridges and store them safely and away from heat.

Cool box & electrical components

Use a suitable power connection: Note whether the appliance is designed for 12V or 230V.
Check cables and connections: Do not use damaged cables or plugs.
No moisture: Do not expose the cool box and electrical components to direct water.
Avoid overloading: Do not connect several powerful appliances to a single 12V socket.
Observe the vehicle fuse: Ensure that the power supply is suitable for the connected devices.

I met Dina and Tobi in Wels at the Caravan Salon - I was looking for innovations to continue the "self-build" of my T5 Multivan that I had already started.
Then I came to the VANFITTERY stand - what can I say, the Van bed system convinced me, I liked it immediately - I decided to switch to this system and not to "continue working" myself, because you can see that the two have already implemented many things and the system is well thought out. Of course, there are other suppliers, but the extremely nice and friendly manner of Dina and Tobi and the goods on display there persuaded me to buy.
When I got home, I thought about doing it myself again, but soon came to the conclusion that the price-performance ratio was ok for me and ordered it. At first I was told that delivery would take a few weeks (which would have been ok), but it only took 10 days and the thing was at my house. Unpacked, lifted in, braced - done! That's how "self-build" works for me, lol.
I can only recommend VANFITTERY, super fast delivery (at least for me), very nicely finished, great realisation - we are super satisfied and will certainly find something else there ;-) .

After two and a half years, I can still say that the Vanfittery bed module is flexible, comfortable and meets my requirements perfectly. It is quickly (1 minute) extended from a bench to a 2m x 1.45m bed and just as easily converted back again. Sufficiently large pull-outs offer space for everything you need for several weeks, long objects, cables and a throw tent fit into the spaces between the bed and the outer wall of the vehicle. Together with the Boxio (in the front pull-out) and the holder for the gas cooker (in the rear pull-out), nothing is left to be desired, even my dog travels comfortably in the large dog box and even my bike fits in the space between the module and the cockpit while I'm driving. I drive a Fiat Scudo with a long wheelbase, right-hand sliding door and tailgate. A folding, self-supporting awning that is flush with the tailgate completes the feeling of spaciousness. The price and service are also very favourable compared to other module providers. The installation and removal requires two strong people and is completed in a few minutes.

When planning our conversion of a Ford Transit Custom BJ 2024 with a short wheelbase, we decided in favour of the furniture from Vanfittery after some research and haven't regretted it for a second so far. After a detailed telephone consultation, we decided on the right size of furniture for us and were also given a good tip for our planned floor.
The time had come at the beginning of June and we travelled to Postau with our bags packed, ready for our first holiday, to pick up our new furniture on the way south. The communication and coordination beforehand was very pleasant and went very smoothly. We were warmly welcomed and then actively assisted with the assembly of the furniture. Unfortunately, due to a misunderstanding, we had forgotten to bring a gas cooker with us, so we were quickly lent one for our planned holiday. So we could finally get started. We have owned the Van bed system for our VW T6 for around 1.5 years and are extremely satisfied. The quality of the box is superb and you can store all kinds of things, including longer items such as parasols. Even at 1.97 metres tall, I sleep very comfortably with my girlfriend. We also like the fact that the system can be supplemented with relatively inexpensive and readily available Ikea items (mattress, boxes, etc.).

We now had a minor „problem“ for the first time, as a drawer no longer closed. Tobi from Vanfittery had a solution ready on the same day and the problem was solved by tightening a few screws.

In short: We can warmly recommend our sleep system!

I was looking for a swivel console for the double seat bench in the VW Crafter from 2017 and found it at Vanfittery. I still have a previous model, Barefoot, which unfortunately had a broken hinge. I sent an email with a photo and a few days later I received 2 new hinges without any problems - in case the 2nd one also gave up the ghost.

I am totally thrilled! We met Tobi and Dina from Vanfittery at the F.R.E.E. and received great advice. Two days later we ordered our bed module from Vanfittery via their website. The 2-4 weeks delivery time was then actually only 2. (Mega Leude!) Installation appointment, drove there. Everything explained super and uncomplicated. Good quality. I am particularly impressed by the very good material/weight ratio and the super easy assembly and disassembly!
A repeat offence cannot be ruled out.

Highly recommended if the systems are right for you.
