Option 1: Direct shipping to Switzerland (via MeinEinkauf)

This is the standard solution for direct shipping to Switzerland if you want to have your order delivered directly to your home.

It's as simple as that:
You order as normal in our shop and enter your Swiss delivery address. You must not register in advance at MeinEinkauf.ch and need none separate account with MeinEinkauf. The entire process runs completely automatically for you in the background.

The Swiss VAT (8.1 %) and shipping costs are displayed directly in our shop. All costs for customs clearance and processing are already included in our flat-rate shipping fee. No additional costs await you and you have no manual effort.

MeinEinkauf.ch will take care of customs clearance and the payment of Swiss import tax (8.1 %) for you. You will receive the invoice from MeinEinkauf AG exactly as you paid it at our checkout. Subsequent reimbursement of German VAT by us is not possible with this option.

Option 2: Own import with VAT refund

If you export the goods to Switzerland yourself, you can reclaim the German VAT (19 %) from us. We offer two ways to do this.

For this service, we charge a fee for Swiss billing addresses. Processing and risk fee in the amount of € 150.00 (net). This amount is deducted directly from the VAT amount to be refunded.

2.1 Collection directly from VANFITTERY

You select „Pickup“ in the checkout and receive your goods directly at our location in Germany.

2.2 Delivery to a German border parcel shop

You have your order delivered to a parcel service provider at the German border (e.g. in Lörrach, Constance or Weil am Rhein).

The refund process (for own imports)

The following procedure must be adhered to so that we can refund the VAT to you in a legally secure manner after you have imported the goods yourself:

  1. Order & Payment: You order with your Swiss billing address and choose a German delivery address or collection. You first pay the full German gross amount (incl. 19 % VAT).
  2. Border crossing: When leaving Germany, you must return the goods to the German customs demonstrate the export. You have the export recorded on the original invoice or an export receipt with a Original service stamp (export in non-commercial travel).
  3. Postal dispatch of the receipt: You send us the Original receipt with the physical customs stamp by post to. Scans, photos or emails are not recognised by the tax office as proof of export.
  4. Audit & Reimbursement: After receiving and checking the original receipt, we will cancel the original invoice and issue a new invoice for a tax-free export delivery. We will refund the VAT minus our lump sum to your original means of payment.

Processing and risk fee

The manual tax processing of export transactions, the cancellation and recreation of receipts and the legally compliant archiving of the original documents mean a considerable amount of additional administrative work for us. As a company, we also bear the financial risk of any rejection of proof by the tax authorities.

For this service, we charge a fee for Swiss billing addresses. Processing and risk fee in the amount of € 150.00. This amount will be deducted directly from the VAT amount to be refunded.
